Engineering Team Leader – Night Shift
Corby | £58,000 per year | Full-time, Permanent
About the Opportunity
I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established, high-volume food manufacturing business in Corby for an Engineering Team Leader to join their night shift operation. This is a great move for an experienced engineering supervisor who wants to take ownership of a night shift function within a genuinely 24/7, fast-paced production environment.
The Role
You'll lead two teams of two engineers on the Panama shift pattern (10pm to 6am, Monday to Friday), with responsibility for facility uptime and asset reliability across the site. It's a hands-on leadership role that calls for flexibility, technical credibility, and the ability to keep a high-performing team engaged and equipped through the night.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
