This Engineering Team Leader position is with a well-known FMCG manufacturing site near Boston that is investing heavily into automation, engineering improvements, and site modernisation.
The Engineering Team Leader Role
- Leading and coordinating shift engineers
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Supporting continuous improvement projects
- Driving engineering standards and uptime
- Prioritising breakdowns and engineering workload
- Supporting apprentices and developing engineers
- Working closely with production teams
- Managing contractor activity on site
- Supporting shutdowns and project work
- Monitoring downtime and recurring faults

Engineering Team Leader - What They're Looking For
- Food, FMCG or other manufacturing engineering backgrounds
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Multi-skilled electrical engineering experience
- Fault finding experience on production machinery
- Planned and reactive maintenance competency
- Strong communication skills
- Experience using CMMS
- Health & Safety awareness
