Job Description
As the Engineering Tech Lead for Data & AI at ECA International, you will spearhead the architecture and evolution of a next-generation data platform. This player-coach role involves mentoring a specialized team while shipping production AI capabilities. You’ll drive technical strategy and collaborate with product peers to deliver high-impact, data-driven business outcomes.

What You Will Do
- Own the technical architecture and long-term roadmap for the Data & AI environment, ensuring scalability and security.
- Mentor and lead a small team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Develop and deploy robust data pipelines and AI-powered features using technologies like AWS, Snowflake, and LLMs.
The ideal candidate
- Deep expertise in data engineering with a stack including AWS, Snowflake, event-driven pipelines, and orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready AI features, such as RAG systems or ML pipelines, with clear business impact.
- Strong leadership experience in mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals.
