Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Northampton | £40,000 | Mon-Fri (8am-4pm)
Are you a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in keeping heavy industrial machinery running safely and efficiently?
We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established business based in Northampton. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of industrial processing equipment, playing a key role in maximising uptime and supporting production demands.
What You'll Be Doing
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across site machinery Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, repairs, and component replacement Complete electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis (3-phase systems) Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot heavy-duty processing equipment Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and disruption Carry out machinery modifications, adjustments, and improvements Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment Uphold and promote high Health & Safety standards at all times

What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills 3-phase electrical experience (essential) 18th Edition qualification (preferred) Proactive, positive attitude with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement Flexible approach to duties based on business needs
