Engineering Technician (Contract)

Location: Wiltshire

Rate: Up to GBP 22 per hour

An innovative healthcare technology company is seeking an Engineering Technician to support product development, testing, equipment maintenance, and fault-finding activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair, modify, and maintain mechanical/electronic equipment
  • Conduct product testing, reliability testing, and failure analysis
  • Support equipment commissioning and qualification
  • Assist engineers and scientists with trials and improvements
  • Maintain accurate records and support GMP processes

Requirements

  • Engineering qualification (Mechanical/Electronic or similar)
  • Experience with mechanical assembly and electronic products
  • Soldering/SMD rework experience
  • Fault-finding and repair experience
  • Strong practical skills and ability to work independently
