Shift Pattern

  • 12-Hour Panama Shifts (7am – 7pm & 7pm – 7am)
  • Week 1 – Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun
  • Week 2 – Wed, Thurs

About You:

We're looking for engineers with previous maintenance experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment, ideally food or beverage manufacturing.

More importantly, you'll be a strong electrical and mechanical fault finder who enjoys solving problems on automated production machinery. Experience with PLCs, automated process control, and servo systems would be highly advantageous.

What You'll Need:

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding, servicing, and repairs
  • Experience working in an FMCG, Food Production, or Manufacturing environment
  • PLC experience (Siemens / Allen Bradley)
  • Inverter & Controller replacement experience
  • Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of site services: Compressors, steam boilers, water treatment, electrical distribution
  • Experience working with Krones machinery is highly advantageous

The Role

You'll play a key role in keeping a highly automated production facility operating at peak performance. Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot complex faults, and help drive continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across high-speed automated production lines (predominately Krones).
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using a structured approach.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis on recurring equipment failures.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and food manufacturing standards.
  • Work collaboratively with Production to minimize downtime.
