Department Overview
CRFS, a global leader in Radio Frequency (RF) technology, was founded in 2007 to innovate in spectrum monitoring and geolocation. The company focuses on manufacturing and designing advanced hardware and software solutions to detect, monitor, and analyze RF signals in complex environments. This expertise has proved crucial to various sectors, including national spectrum regulators, the military, and security and intelligence services. Today, the company’s technology is recognized, preferred, and embedded in most NATO countries and deployed worldwide.
CRFS’ mission is to continue pioneering sophisticated technologies for complex challenges in the RF spectrum domain.
We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Engineering Technician to support rapid prototype development, system builds, and test activities across CRFS systems engineering projects. This role is central to enabling fast, repeatable build–test–iterate cycles. The Engineering Technician will work closely with Systems Engineering, Mechanical Design, Hardware, RF, and Test engineers to assemble, modify, and test prototype and pre-production systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
