The Engineering Turbine Product Qualification Leader

The Engineering Turbine Product Qualification Leader, reporting to the Turbine Product Engineering Leader, will be in charge of coordinating all engineering activities, ensuring effectiveness and robustness of product qualification throughout the Turbine products lifecycle.

Scope

Responsibilities

As Engineering Product Qualification Leader, you will:

  • Be the products engineering contact for all topics related to product qualification.
  • Participate to products qualification of product code A/B and actively engage dialog with suppliers/fabricators to ensure the technical and manufacturing requirements are understood.
  • Identify necessary actions during and after initial product qualification and closely follow-up their exhaustive implementation by the suppliers/fabricators.
  • Identify necessary technical support and/or possible technology transfer needed in order to support the selected suppliers/fabricators with its industrial scheme.
  • Approve technically the products qualification for product code A/B (with the support of Product Owners and Special (manufacturing) Processes Specialists).
  • Contributes to REX and products design review meetings when applicable.
  • Collect all REX having an impact on the products qualification checklists resulting from NCR, MSR, 8D/RCA, PSR, factories, construction sites feedback/analysis by connecting with relevant functions’ stakeholders throughout the organisation and coordinates their updates.
  • Ensure the continuous update/improvement of the products qualification checklists with the support of Product Owners and Special Processes Specialists.
  • Follow Company policies and guidelines for Nuclear Safety, Environment, Health and Safety, and Product Safety.
  • Engage into the setting of reasonable start/finish dates of activities and sign off master time schedule.
  • Be accountable for the safety in design, quality right first time in technical documentation, on-time and complete delivery and finally respect of available cost when executing Product qualification engineering activities.

Education

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Bac +5)

Experience

Extensive experience within a Design office for Turbine Product. Strong experience in a context of Product Owner for Turbine Components. Strong Turbine Manufacturing experience with factory and sites.

Behavioural and/or Technical Know-how

Le Responsable Qualification Produit Turbine

Le Responsable Qualification Produit Turbine, rattaché au Responsable Ingénierie Produits Turbine, est chargé de coordonner l’ensemble des activités d’ingénierie afin d’assurer l’efficacité et la robustesse de la qualification des produits tout au long de leur cycle de vie.

Responsabilités

En tant que Responsable Qualification Produit Turbine, vous devrez :

  • Être l’interlocuteur de référence de l’ingénierie pour tous les sujets liés à la qualification des produits.
  • Participer à la qualification des produits de code A/B et engager un dialogue actif avec les fournisseurs et fabricants afin de s’assurer que les exigences techniques et de fabrication sont correctement comprises.
  • Identifier les actions nécessaires pendant et après la qualification initiale des produits et en assurer un suivi rigoureux jusqu’à leur mise en œuvre exhaustive par les fournisseurs et fabricants.
  • Identifier les besoins en support technique et/ou en transfert de technologie nécessaires pour accompagner les fournisseurs ou fabricants sélectionnés dans leur schéma industriel.
  • Approuver techniquement la qualification des produits de code A/B, avec l’appui des Responsables Produits (Product Owners) et des spécialistes des procédés spéciaux de fabrication.
  • Contribuer au retour d’expérience (REX) et aux revues de conception produit lorsque cela est applicable.
  • Collecter l’ensemble des retours d’expérience ayant un impact sur les check-lists de qualification des produits, provenant notamment des : NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), MSR, analyses 8D / RCA, PSR, usines, chantiers de construction, retours et analyses terrain. Cette activité est réalisée en collaboration avec les parties prenantes concernées au sein de l’organisation et comprend la coordination des mises à jour associées.
  • Assurer la mise à jour et l’amélioration continues des check-lists de qualification des produits avec le soutien des Responsables Produits et des spécialistes des procédés spéciaux.
  • Appliquer les politiques et directives de l’entreprise en matière de sûreté nucléaire, d’environnement, de santé et sécurité au travail, ainsi que de sûreté des produits.
  • Participer à l’établissement de calendriers d’activités réalistes (dates de début et de fin) et valider le planning.
  • Être responsable de la prise en compte de la sécurité dès la conception, de la qualité dans la documentation technique (Right First Time), du respect des délais de livraison, de l’exhaustivité des livrables et de la maîtrise des coûts alloués lors de l’exécution des activités d’ingénierie de qualification produit.

Compétences requises

Formation

Diplôme d’ingénieur ou Master 2 en génie mécanique (Bac +5).

Expérience

10 ans d’expérience au sein d’un bureau d’études dans le domaine des produits Turbine. 5 ans d’expérience en tant que Responsable Produit (Product Owner) pour des composants de turbine. Solide expérience de fabrication des turbines, incluant une expérience significative en usine et sur sites.

Compétences comportementales et techniques

  • Maîtrise des procédés de fabrication et des contrôles non destructifs (CND).
  • Solides connaissances démontrées en conception mécanique.
  • Rigueur et forte orientation processus.
  • Excellentes qualités relationnelles.
  • Forte autonomie.
  • Capacité à prendre des décisions.

Langues

Anglais courant, à l’oral comme à l’écrit : expression orale, compréhension orale, lecture, rédaction.
