Location: Online
Working Hours: Mondays, 7pm or 8pm and Saturdays, 10am or 11am (hours are negotiable) for group sessions (up to 10 students), plus negotiable one-to-one sessions
About Geek School Tutoring
Geek School Tutoring is an expert provider of quality educational support services. We are seeking experienced English and Maths Tutors to prepare students for the Functional Skills Level 2 exams through evening and weekend online sessions.
Role Description
As an English or Maths Tutor, you will deliver focused online group sessions (up to 10 students) as well as one-to-one sessions, helping students prepare for and pass their Functional Skills Level 2 English or Maths exam. You will need a strong understanding of the exam format and content, and a track record of helping students achieve good pass rates.

Key Requirements
- Extensive experience teaching Functional Skills Level 2 English or Maths
- Strong understanding of the Functional Skills Level 2 exam and a good pass rate with previous students
- A good A Level grade in English or Maths respectively
- Highfield Qualifications-approved tutor status is preferred, though we are happy to support registration for the right candidate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, organise and lead engaging online lessons
- Good interpersonal skills and an approachable personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
