The Role
As an English ECT, you will:
Teach engaging English Language & Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for strong candidates) Deliver lessons that build analytical thinking, literacy, and exam confidence Support students in achieving strong outcomes in GCSE English Use high-quality schemes of work and resources to deliver consistent, impactful lessons Receive regular coaching, observations, and developmental feedback
What We’re Looking For
A degree in English or related subject with QTS (or on track) A genuine passion for literacy, reading, and student development Someone who is reflective, coachable, and ambitious Strong subject knowledge with the ability to break down texts and concepts clearly A future teacher who wants to build a long-term career in education
