The Role

English Graduate

  • Support English lessons across KS3KS4, helping raise attainment
  • Deliver small-group interventions in reading, writing, and analysis
  • Work 1:1 with pupils who need additional literacy support
  • Assist with planning, marking, and resource creation
  • Help run extracurricular activities such as book clubs, debate groups, or creative writing
  • Build the essential classroom management skills needed for teacher training

The Ideal English Graduate

  • A 2:1 or First Class Honours in English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing, or a related degree
  • A genuine passion for education and a long-term ambition to teach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced teachers
