The Role
English Graduate
- Support English lessons across KS3KS4, helping raise attainment
- Deliver small-group interventions in reading, writing, and analysis
- Work 1:1 with pupils who need additional literacy support
- Assist with planning, marking, and resource creation
- Help run extracurricular activities such as book clubs, debate groups, or creative writing
- Build the essential classroom management skills needed for teacher training
The Ideal English Graduate
- A 2:1 or First Class Honours in English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing, or a related degree
- A genuine passion for education and a long-term ambition to teach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced teachers
- A positive role model who can inspire a love of English
