Position: English Generalist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20 - $100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate, edit, and enhance AI-generated English content for grammar, syntax, clarity, and style.
- Conduct in-depth research to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information used for AI training.
- Apply AP Style, copyediting, and proofreading best practices to a diverse array of texts.
- Develop and refine writing prompts, tone guidelines, and stylistic parameters for language models.
- Analyze and annotate text data to improve AI language comprehension and generation capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement areas and ensure linguistic quality.

Requirements
- Have advanced proficiency in English, with a keen eye for grammar, syntax, and language structure.
- Have a minimum of professional experience in copyediting, proofreading, or linguistics roles.
- Demonstrate expertise in reading comprehension and adapting to various writing styles and tones.
- Be proficient in AP Style and other recognized editorial standards.
- Possess strong research skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex information.
