English Lecturer

Salary and Benefits
A salary of up to £39,700 is available depending on qualifications and experience, alongside an attractive benefits package and generous holiday entitlement.
Role Details
The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, and based at a campus location within Surrey with good transport links from surrounding areas. Easily accessible from Woking, Ashford, Weybridge, Guildford, Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Epsom, Staines-upon-Thames, and the wider Surrey area.

Responsibilities
You'll be delivering GCSE English to learners from a range of backgrounds, planning engaging lessons that build confidence, improve attainment, and help students achieve their qualifications. Beyond the classroom, you'll support learner progress, contribute to curriculum development, and work closely with colleagues to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all.

Qualifications
We're keen to hear from candidates who hold a degree in English or a related subject and either possess a recognised teaching qualification or are willing to work towards one. Previous experience teaching GCSE English, particularly the current 9-1 curriculum, would be highly beneficial.
