English Literature Lecturer - A level

# Lecturer in English Literature – Part-Time (0.8 FTE), Permanent

About the Role

As an English Literature Lecturer at Capital City College, London, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in A Level English Literature (OCR specification).
  • Support your students in achieving their academic and career goals.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring teaching aligns with industry standards.
  • Provide both academic and pastoral guidance to inspire and motivate learners.

This role is a part-time (0.8 FTE), permanent position in our vibrant London campus community.


About The Team

You’ll be part of a collaborative team of four colleagues dedicated to excellence in education. Expect:

About You

We’re seeking a passionate, qualified professional with:

  • Proven experience in teaching English Literature, particularly A-Level.
  • A strong subject knowledge of OCR A Level English Literature.
  • Outstanding communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive, student-centred teaching.
  • A teaching qualification (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • Experience in inspiring diverse learners to reach their potential.
