English Second Language Teacher

Head 1: ESL Teacher – Teach English Abroad with English 1 (China and Indonesia)

Are you an experienced ESL teacher or an educator ready to take your teaching skills overseas? We are looking for passionate, culturally curious teachers who want to elevate their career, immerse themselves in life in China, and join a global community of educators. What You’ll Do

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Teach English to young learners aged 3–16 in vibrant, high-energy classrooms
  • Deliver engaging lessons using English 1’s award-winning curriculum and digital tools
  • Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support their learning
  • Participate in school events, cultural programs, and community activities

Who We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree (any subject)
  • A valid passport
  • A genuine interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange
  • ESL certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) – preferred (sponsorship available if needed)
  • Clean background check
