GBP130 - GBP160 per day for day-to-day supply (Paid to scale for long-term placements including planning/marking)

Day-to-Day Supply, Short-Term, and Long-Term contracts available
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 (Term Time Only)
Start Date

Key Responsibilities
As an English and Cover Teacher, your day will involve:
- Delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Providing high-quality general cover across other subject areas when required, ensuring students remain on task and focused.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with individual school policies.
- For long-term roles: actively planning, preparing resources, assessing pupil work, and participating in departmental progress meetings.

Candidate Requirements (Essential Criteria)
To join our Okehampton teaching pool for September, you must meet the following:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (QTLS with SET membership).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different school cultures.
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or the willingness for a new one through Randstad).
- A professional, reliable, and proactive approach to supporting student learning.
