English Teacher
A nurturing SEMH school in Wythenshawe is looking for a Qualified English Teacher to join their close knit school.
This is a unique opportunity to join this well established education group in supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils with diverse needs learning English. The school is looking for an English Teacher with proven experience of working with SEND or SEMH pupils. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum to promote engagement and individual progression.

About the role
- Deliver engaging English lessons tailored to SEN students in small 5-7 pupil class sizes
- Integrate EHCP targets to support academic and personal growth
- Develop student's literacy skills including reading fluency, phonics, writing and communication
- Assess and track progress across academic, communication, social-emotional and independence skills
Working hours: 8:15am - 4pm
Starting in: September

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000
Who we're looking for
- Experience of teaching SEN students, preferably in a SEN setting
- QTS or QTLS with ECT years passed
- Experience of adapting teaching to various needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Adaptable, resilient and empathetic attitude
- Recognised degree in any subject
