About the Role

A high-achieving, Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' Secondary School in Wandsworth is looking for a passionate and dynamic English Teacher to join their team for the September 2026 school year. This is a full-time, permanent position.

  • KS Teaching: KS3 – KS5
  • Additional Responsibilities: TLR opportunity for further leadership (2iC or KS3 Lead)

  • Salary Range: MPS1 – UPS3 + TLR

Applicant Specification

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – or in the process of gaining it
  • Strong academic background with:
    • A degree, strong A-levels, and GCSEs
    • Previous teaching experience preferred
  • Teaching excellence evidenced by:
    • 'Good' or 'Outstanding' lesson observation placements/reports
  • A self-motivated and feedback-responsive teacher
