A high-achieving, Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' Secondary School based in Wandsworth is seeking a passionate and dynamic English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-quality English instruction across KS3–KS5
- Continually assess and address student performance through differentiated instruction
- Collaborate as part of the English department and wider school community to enhance teaching standards

Requirements & Selection Criteria
Applicants must meet the following:
- Hold QTS (or be on the path to gaining it)
- Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement (strong degree, A-levels, and GCSEs)
- Bring proven teaching experience (placement/volunteer teaching preferred)
- Be eligible for a QTS placement (if currently exempt for other reasons)
- Show evidence of high-quality teaching through;
- "Good-Oustanding" lesson observation feedback or placement evaluations PASSPORT®
Be motivated to thrive in a supporting environment, receptive to constructive feedback.
Salary: MPS1 to UPS3 on Inner London pay scale + TLR opportunities.
Location: Tertiary seat location: Wandsworth (existing clergy facilities).
