Victoria Mentoring and Care Hub (VMCH) – Casual Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Location: Berwick _shift:*

  • Casual – Day and Afternoon shifts available

About the Role

We’re seeking an energetic, compassionate and self-motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to deliver high-quality care to our residents. As part of a supportive team, your work will focus on enabling residents to lead fulfilling lives by providing:

  • Personalised care aligned with individual care plans, policies, and professional standards
  • Accurate collection, monitoring, and reporting of health status and functional progress to meet resident goals
  • Collaborative care planning with Registered Nurses (RNs), healthcare teams, and residents (including medical decision-makers)
  • Empathetic, hands-on support for ageing or diverse residential needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing clinical assessment of residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs
  • Compile and review health and care documentation—tracing progress towards outcomes
  • Implement and update care plans in collaboration with the team
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, colleagues, and volunteers
  • Maintain high standards of safety, infection control, and professional conduct
  • Assist with medication administration (as per endorsement)
  • Carry out daily/scheduled tasks with autonomy and initiative, adapting to resident autonomy where possible

About You

To thrive in this role, you must have:

Essential Criteria

✔ Current AHPRA registration (as an Enrolled Nurse) with medication endorsement ✔ Proven experience in aged care environments, formulating care plans, and assessing residents’ health/wellbeing ✔ Strong interpersonal skills—ability to engage compassionately with diverse individuals (including families and colleagues) ✔ Self-management—demonstrated ability for independent work with minimal supervision ✔ Practical proficiency in MS Office and healthcare IT systems for record-keeping
