About Juniper Training

Juniper Training is a leading provider of high-quality vocational education and training. We are dedicated to equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications they need to thrive in their careers. Our programs are designed to inspire and challenge learners, helping them to achieve their full potential.

About The Role

This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new apprentices during their initial four weeks with us. You will play a key role in guiding apprentices and employers through onboarding processes, identifying support needs, and preparing apprentices for their training journey.

This role offers a blend of home-based working and travel within the Manchester area to visit learners in their workplace, therefore candidates must be based within the Manchester area. In addition, there will be a requirement to attend training sessions in Wolverhampton.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding and Initial Assessment:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between employers, apprentices, and Juniper during the first four weeks.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Identify any barriers and support needs and create initial support plans with apprentices.
  • Work with the Apprenticeship Recruitment Consultants to meet key targets.

Induction And Retention

  • Conduct comprehensive induction sessions to introduce apprentices to the program structure and expectations.
  • Set initial tasks and assignments to prepare apprentices for their pathway.
  • Keep apprentices engaged, motivated, and on track to ensure high retention rates.
  • Collaborate with Skills Coaches and managers to ensure a seamless transition at week five.

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
