Undergraduate Admissions Office – Enrollment Services Specialist

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking to recruit an Enrollment Services Specialist for the Clarkston Perimeter College campus.
About the Role
The Enrollment Services Specialist serves as first point of contact for walk-ins to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This highly visible position delivers exemplary customer service to:
- Prospective students
- Admitted students
- Current students
- Parents
- Visitors and constituents
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing assistance in person, via phone, and through email.
- Troubleshooting and exercising independent judgment in interpreting relevant Office, University, and Board of Regents policies.
- Supporting all inquiries related to undergraduate admissions processes at Perimeter College and Georgia State University.

Key Responsibilities
Student & Community Engagement
- Counsel prospective students and applicants on admissions requirements and procedures at both Perimeter College and Georgia State University.
- Act as a liaison with other campus departments to provide outstanding customer service.
- Advise and resolve inquiries about admissions policies and procedures for students, parents, and the general public.
- Utilize Banner and Slate to investigate, problem-solve, and resolve questions regarding requirements and application status.
Administrative Support
- Update and process records in Banner and Slate.
- Redirect inquiries to the correct offices, such as Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, or Housing.
- Assist with post-secondary high school programs, including Move on When Ready and Success Academy.
- Enter reactivations, lawful presence clearance forms, and supplemental credits from transcripts.
Recruitment & Events
- Conduct campus tours and presentations as required.
- Assist in recruitment and yield events at Perimeter College or the Atlanta campus.
- Provide covering assistance at other university locations when support is needed.
Other Duties
Cover all remaining duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Minimum Hiring Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Two years of related experience (or a combination of education and experience).
Preferred Hiring Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills (both oral and written).
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Thorough knowledge of admissions policies, procedures, and student needs.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse constituencies in a professional academic setting.
- Experience using Banner and Slate systems.

Position Details
- College/Business Unit: Enrollment Management
- Location: Clarkston Campus
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:15 PM
- Salary: $43,100
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Employment Type: Full-Time (Benefits Eligible)
