Read this if you've sold serious technology into Tier-1 banks, hit your number every year, and want back into a fast-moving AI company with real equity and a decade to build something.

The Company (Confidential)

Our client is a profitable, capital-efficient, VC-backed B2B platform that helps Tier-1 banks, insurers, asset managers, and regulators evaluate and adopt AI inside a controlled, compliant environment - collapsing evaluation cycles that used to take six months into weeks. They work with a roster of marquee financial institutions and technology partners, and roughly 80% of their pipeline is now AI-driven.

They sit in a category with very few real competitors, at a moment where demand is outstripping their capacity to serve it. The only thing capping growth is commercial headcount - which is where you come in.

The Seat

This is the first dedicated UK commercial seat below founder-CEO level. You'll carry net-new ARR against regulated financial institutions across the UK, Ireland, and EU, hunting into Tier-1 doors they don't yet reach and expanding warm inside the existing base.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Meaningful seven-figure ARR quota, three-tier commission with an overachievement accelerator
  • Deals that start six-figure and grow to multi-million as you expand inside an institution
  • Seven-to-nine-month enterprise cycles: CTO, CISO, Head of AI, lines of business, procurement, infosec
  • In-house Client Success owns pre-sales and technical depth - you sell consultatively, you don't demo the product
  • A genuine path into UK Head of Sales as the bench grows behind you
  • Equity in a profitable, references-in-place company with a Series A on the horizon - the reason this seat is asymmetric

Who Thrives Here

You've sold sophisticated technology, data, or platform products into Tier-1 financial institutions - and you've got the named deals and the metronomic quota record to prove it. Maybe that's enterprise SaaS; maybe it's dealmaking software, market data, or an information platform sold to corporate-development teams, Big-4, and the banks. What matters is FS depth, a consistent record of hitting seven-figure quotas, and doing it as a hunter.

You're back-into-tech hungry. You want equity, ownership, and a decade-long build - not another comfortable seat. You're comfortable with founder-led ambiguity, happy wearing several hats, and you present as well to a bank MD as you do to a founder. You treat AI in the sales workflow as an accelerator, not a threat, and you're fluent (or fast-learning) across the modern stack - Gong, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, Claude, ChatGPT.

You bring a UK FS network that opens warm doors, a stable track record, and the intellectual honesty to grow into leadership. Not for the precious.
