Enterprise Account Executive

Enterprise Account Executive (UK Growth) – Lyrebird Health


The Role

This is a senior commercial role at the heart of Lyrebird’s UK growth. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle for strategic NHS Trusts, ICBs, and large hospital groups, from first conversation to signed multi-year SaaS contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and managing a high-value pipeline
  • Navigating complex procurement environments
  • Collaborating closely with clinical, digital, and finance stakeholders
  • Shaping deals that deliver measurable outcomes for the healthcare sector
  • Expanding existing accounts and providing real market intelligence to inform product and go-to-market (GTM) strategies

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Thrives on complex, high-stakes deals
  • Has genuine curiosity about solving clinician challenges
  • Is comfortable leading high-level boardroom conversations (e.g., with CIOs) while simultaneously diving deep with technical or clinical teams
  • Values long-term relationship-building
  • Is rigorous in pipeline management and passionate about selling solutions that truly matter

We are hiring two Account Executives to expand and strengthen Lyrebird's presence in the Midlands and Northern regions of the UK. This is a remote role with familiar travel.

What You’ll Do

Sales Accountability

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting to signed contracts, for NHS Trusts, ICSs, and large private/international hospitals:
    • Leverage both outbound and inbound lead sources, partner relationships, and marketing campaigns to drive growth
  • Develop strong, scalable pipelines in remote and hybrid environments
  • Drive SaaS-subscribed multi-year contracts with ** Winchester procurement guidance

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead structured workflow discovery with clinical, operational, digital, and finance stakeholders to identify:
    • Key pain points
    • Best efficiency, cost-reduction, and workforce transformation opportunities
    • Outcomes that align with clinical and operational priorities

Solution & Business Case Development

  • Participate in RFP preparation, information governance reviews, and cybersecurity/data privacy compliance
  • Create sharp, consultative proposals, business cases with ROI to position Lyrebird’s ambient clinical AI effectively
  • Tailor arguments to C-level executives (e.g., CIOs, CCIOs, CNIOs, CMOs, COOs) as well as clinical informatics and frontline staff

Market Expansion & Intelligence

  • Represent Lyrebird at events, technical demos, and executive briefings as a trusted advisor in AI-driven healthcare innovation
  • Maintain respectful accuracy in CRM forecasting, using proven sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC)
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to refine post-sale handoffs and identify expansion opportunities in existing deals

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • A strong track record in enterprise SaaS sales, including:
    • Consistent quota achievement
    • Multi-year contract wins
  • Deep experience selling to healthcare providers, with a special emphasis on:
    • Understanding NHS Trusts, ICBs, and large hospital groups
    • Navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making processes (clinical, digital, finance)
  • Proven ability to handle complex sales cycles, including writing persuasive business cases and demonstrating clear ROI
  • Fluency with structured sales methodologies (MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or similar) and macevid methodology
  • Exceptional communication skills to:
    • Engage in C-suite conversations
    • Simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences
    • Adapt verbal and written communication depending on the audience

Nice to Have

  • Prior exposure to NHS procurement processes, including frameworks and contracting routes
  • Background in clinical documentation, speech recognition, EPRs, or adjacent health tech
  • Existing networks with:
    • NHS digital leaders
    • Clinical informaticists
    • Transformation specialist teams
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment with clear provenance in building trust and fostering long-term supplier partnerships
