About the company
A highly regarded enterprise technology partner helping large organisations design, build and scale complex, mission-critical software platforms.
- The business combines deep software engineering expertise with modern cloud, platform and digital transformation capabilities.
- It has built an excellent reputation through delivery, technical quality and long-term customer partnerships rather than relying heavily on marketing.
- Several initial projects have developed into major strategic relationships generating significant recurring annual revenue.
- The company works with large organisations across the UK and internationally.
- It is entering an exciting growth phase and investing in building a high-performing commercial function from the ground up.
- You will join a technically strong, founder-led environment with an established delivery capability and outstanding customer references.
About the role
- Build a new pipeline of enterprise opportunities across the UK.
- Identify, research and prospect medium-sized and large organisations with complex technology environments.
- Create opportunities from scratch rather than relying on an inherited territory or a high volume of inbound leads.
- Engage senior technical decision-makers, including CTOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering, platform leaders and Heads of Software Engineering.
- Develop targeted outbound strategies that generate qualified enterprise meetings.
- Map complex accounts and build relationships with multiple technical, commercial and executive stakeholders.
- Own opportunities from initial outreach through discovery, qualification and progression.
- Work closely with founders and senior technical leaders throughout the sales process.
- Bring technical specialists into solution design, discovery sessions, presentations and complex pre-sales conversations.
- Position the company as a strategic technology partner rather than a transactional development supplier.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, networking events and relevant industry conferences.
- Help shape the company’s outbound methodology, commercial strategy and wider go-to-market approach.
- Play a central role in building the sales engine and influencing how the commercial function develops.
- Work remotely across the UK, with regular customer travel and occasional travel to a regional office.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
