The Role
This is a senior commercial role at the heart of Lyrebird’s UK growth. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll:
- Own the full sales cycle for strategic NHS Trusts, ICBs, and large hospital groups, from first conversation to signed multi-year SaaS contract.
- Build and manage a high-value pipeline, navigating complex procurement environments while collaborating with clinical, digital, and finance stakeholders to shape deals with measurable outcomes.
- Play a key role in expanding existing accounts and feeding real market intelligence back into product and go-to-market (GTM) teams.

We’re hiring 2x Account Executives to grow and build Lyrebird’s presence in the Midlands and the North. A remote role with extensive travel.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, covering NHS Trusts, ICSs, large private hospitals, and international groups.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through:
- Outbound activity
- Inbound leads
- Partner relationships
- Marketing campaigns
- Lead structured discovery with clinical, operational, digital, and finance stakeholders to identify workflows, pain points, and target outcomes (efficiency, cost reduction, workforce transformation).
- Shape solution proposals and business cases that align Lyrebird’s AI capabilities with clinical and operational priorities.
- Navigate healthcare procurement complexity, including:
- RFPs
- IT and Information Governance reviews
- Cybersecurity and data privacy requirements
- Build and sustain executive-level relationships with:
- CIOs, CCIOs, CNIOs
- CMOs, COOs
- Clinical champions
- Uphold accurate forecasting, opportunity staging, and risk reporting in CRM, collaborating with Customer Success for seamless handovers and expansion opportunities.
- Represent Lyrebird at events, demos, and executive briefings as a recognised, consultative voice on ambient clinical AI.

What You’ll Bring
Essential Requirements
- A strong track record in enterprise SaaS sales, with consistent quota achievement and multi-year contract wins.
- Experience selling to healthcare providers, ideally within NHS Trusts, ICBs, or large hospital groups. Understanding of how clinical, digital, and finance teams align decisions.
- Confidence in running multi-stakeholder sales processes and crafting compelling business cases with clear **ROI}.
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC), with disciplined execution.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication ability to engage with C-suite executives while adapting for technical or clinical audiences.

- Experience with NHS procurement routes, frameworks, or contracting processes.
- Knowledge of healthcare domains, such as:
- Clinical documentation
- Speech recognition
- Electronic Patient Record Systems (EPR)
- Patient Admin Systems (PAS)
- Adjacent health tech solutions
- Existing networks within:
- NHS digital leaders
- Clinical informaticists
- Transformation teams
- History in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment.
