JOB DESCRIPTION
Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager /Enterprise Account Manager to join Abbott’s Core Diagnostics team. This role is pivotal in driving customer loyalty and business growth through strategic planning, value co-creation, and long-term partnerships for UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer objectives and Abbott’s portfolio.
- Build deep understanding of enterprise account needs, stakeholders, and competitive landscape.
- Consult with customers to deliver insights for clinical effectiveness and operational excellence.
- Drive market share growth through new business opportunities, contract renewals, and protecting existing business.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement account strategies and negotiate profitable contracts.
- Establish Abbott as a premier performance partner from laboratory leadership to C-suite executives.
Qualifications
- University degree, ideally in medical technology.
- Experience in the diagnostics industry with a proven track record in managing strategic/enterprise accounts.
- Strong solution-selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills at senior stakeholder level.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare and diagnostics industry trends, competitors, and regulations.
- Fluent in English and local language; additional languages are an advantage.
