The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager /Enterprise Account Manager to join Abbott’s Core Diagnostics team. This role is pivotal in driving customer loyalty and business growth through strategic planning, value co-creation, and long-term partnerships for UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer objectives and Abbott’s portfolio.
- Build deep understanding of enterprise account needs, stakeholders, and competitive landscape.
- Consult with customers to deliver insights for clinical effectiveness and operational excellence.
- Drive market share growth through new business opportunities, contract renewals, and protecting existing business.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement account strategies and negotiate profitable contracts.
- Establish Abbott as a premier performance partner from laboratory leadership to C-suite executives.

Qualifications
- University degree, ideally in medical technology. Experience in the diagnostics industry with a proven track record in managing strategic/enterprise accounts.
- Strong solution-selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills at senior stakeholder level.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare and diagnostics industry trends, competitors, and regulations.
- Fluent in English and local language; additional languages are an advantage.
