Enterprise Applications Manager (EMEA) | Up to £95k + 8% Bonus | Hybrid – Cheltenham or London
A leading defence and advanced technology organisation is seeking an Enterprise Applications Manager to shape a new Business Systems team across EMEA, offering influence over strategic technology direction.
About the Role
You will join the EMEA IT leadership team, bridging technology and business strategy by overseeing enterprise applications from roadmap definition to retirement. This hybrid role is based in Cheltenham or London, with up to 25% travel across the region.

Responsibilities
- Define and deliver a strategic roadmap for enterprise applications aligned with business priorities.
- Manage the full application lifecycle—selection, implementation, upgrades, optimisation, and retirement.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of critical business systems.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of application specialists.
- Collaborate with business units, IT service lines, and external vendors for value-driven solutions.
- Embed governance, security, and compliance standards across all enterprise applications.
Requirements
Must Have
- Proven senior applications management or IT leadership experience.
- Technical expertise in enterprise ecosystems including:
- ERP, PLM, BI
- SaaS, integration technologies
- Atlassian, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or ServiceNow
- Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional organisations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and project delivery skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Eligible for UK Government SC clearance (UK nationals only).
