About the Role

This role supports the architecture team and business users across the Air Sector, focusing on the design, governance, and development of the Enterprise Architecture repository and models. The Enterprise Architect Practitioner ensures high-quality, consistent architecture artefacts that support decision-making, strategic alignment, and effective IM&T delivery. The role combines hands-on modelling with governance of standards, metamodel design, and repository structure, supporting a broad community of practitioners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and govern enterprise architecture models across business, information, application, and technology domains using agreed standards and frameworks. Lead the design, evolution, and governance of the enterprise architecture metamodel, viewpoints, and modelling conventions within the architecture repository. Act as a senior practitioner, reviewing and assuring the quality, consistency, and usability of architecture artefacts. Support strategic planning, investment decisions, and transformation initiatives through clear, accurate, and traceable architectural views. Enable effective use of the architecture repository by defining modelling patterns, guidance, and best practice for the wider architecture community. Contribute to architecture governance forums, providing expert guidance and influencing key stakeholders across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
