Enterprise Architect
We are Hiring Enterprise Architect
Location: Remote
Hours: Full Time 37.5 p/w
Are you passionate about shaping technology strategy and turning vision into reality?
At Kensington Mortgages, we're looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to play a key role in defining our future technology direction, architecture roadmap, and approach to emerging technologies, including AI.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions across a leading regulated financial services organisation, working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to ensure our investments deliver meaningful business value, support regulatory requirements, and improve customer outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Enterprise Architect, you will:
- Define and evolve the enterprise architecture and technology roadmap in line with business strategy and regulatory expectations.
- Define the enterprise AI strategy, principles and architecture, including shaping technology governance and guardrails to ensure safe AI adoption.
- Ensure AI adoption aligns with internal policies, security and control frameworks and risk appetite.
- Provide architectural leadership across the organisation, guiding Solution and Technical Architects embedded in delivery teams through influence, coaching and clear standards.
- Work with programmes and projects, shaping designs, resolving complex issues and helping delivery teams translate strategy into practical solutions.
- Own and maintain effective architecture governance, ensuring decisions are risk based, controlled and aligned to security, resilience and customer outcomes.
- Partner with business, technology and executive stakeholders to support investment decisions, supplier choices, integration approaches and long term technology planning.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies, including AI, and help identify where innovation can deliver measurable business value.

Measures Of Success:
- Technology investment and design decisions are clearly aligned to enterprise priorities and strategic architecture direction.
- Delivery teams have clear guardrails and make faster, better quality architecture decisions with less rework.
- Architecture governance is viewed as enabling and commercially relevant while maintaining appropriate control and risk management.
- AI opportunities are progressed safely with clear value cases, appropriate controls and alignment to policy and risk appetite.
- Priority programmes show stronger architectural coherence, reduced complexity and improved delivery confidence.
- Senior stakeholders have confidence in the long term technology direction and the rationale behind key architectural decisions.
What We're Looking For
You will be a hands on senior technology leader with experience operating within a complex regulated environment. You will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, influencing decisions and balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery.

You will bring
- Experience developing and delivering enterprise architecture or technology strategy.
- The ability to connect business objectives with technology solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience working across multiple teams and functions without direct management authority.
- A practical approach to solving complex technology challenges.
- Knowledge of governance, risk management, security, resilience and regulatory requirements.
- An understanding of AI, its opportunities, risks and how it can be adopted responsibly within a regulated organisation.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively where required.
