Enterprise Business Development Manager
Manchester (Hybrid) | Up to £90,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission (Double OTE) Average OTE: £200,000+ Top performers: £400,000+
We're partnering with a rapidly growing global technology consultancy that's expanding its Manchester sales team following a record-breaking year.
The business helps some of the world's leading organisations accelerate digital transformation through bespoke software engineering, AI-powered solutions and enterprise technology consulting. Rather than selling a standard SaaS product, you'll be working with clients to solve complex business challenges through tailored technology solutions.
This is a genuine enterprise new business role where you'll identify, engage and win large strategic accounts, building long-term relationships with C-suite technology leaders.

The Opportunity
- Enterprise new business role with full ownership of the sales cycle
- Typical sales cycle of 3–12 months
- Average deal value around £750,000
- Minimum deal value approximately £250,000
- Selling into CTOs, CIOs, COOs and other senior technology decision-makers
- Self-generated pipeline with complete ownership of your territory

Responsibilities

- Build and develop your own pipeline of enterprise opportunities
- Win new logo business across large enterprise organisations
- Build trusted relationships with C-level and senior technology stakeholders
- Manage complex opportunities from first conversation through to close
- Qualify, progress and accurately forecast opportunities
- Work closely with technical and delivery teams to develop winning solutions
What we're looking for
- Proven success in enterprise technology, SaaS, cloud, AI or software consultancy sales
- A genuine new business hunter with experience generating your own pipeline
- Strong understanding of MEDDPICC (or a similar enterprise sales methodology)
- Experience selling complex, consultative solutions with long sales cycles
- Comfortable engaging CTOs, CIOs and other senior decision-makers
- Driven, ambitious and motivated by building strategic client relationships
