Enterprise Business Development Manager – Payments Advisory (Become the Voice of the Merchant)

Poacher to Game Keeper

Remote (UK) extensive business travel

Good base + very Competitive OTE

What if you stopped selling payments... and started representing the merchant?

If you've built your career selling merchant acquiring, payment processing, gateways or fintech solutions, you'll understand the commercial challenges merchants face.

Now imagine sitting on the other side of the table, working for an established Payments Advisors with an enviable track record, supporting merchants like Just Eat Takeaway.com, Dunelm, Travis Perkins, American Golf, Firmdale Hotels and Celtic Manor Resort. My client don't sell payment processing, they advocate to help merchants make better commercial decisions in regards to their payment strategy.

Through independent advisory, global benchmarking and market-leading consultancy, they help enterprise businesses optimise payment costs, strengthen supplier relationships and develop smarter payment strategies.

I’ve been asked to find them an experienced new business professional who wants to become a trusted adviser—not just another payments salesperson.

  • Demonstrable track record with more than 20% average client savings
  • 1,000’s of successful client assignments

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
