The Role

Bloomberg’s markets are evolving, and we need a hardworking, data-driven professional to expand our presence in Central and Eastern Europe. This role focuses on enterprise sales for our Enterprise Data suite, requiring both subject-matter expertise and commercial acumen.

As an Enterprise Sales Associate, you will:

  • Gain rigorous training on Bloomberg’s products, commercials, and sales methodologies.
  • Work with diverse client types, enterprise workflows, and technology stacks.
  • Articulate the value of our data solutions while absorbing the core principles of Bloomberg’s offerings.

Ideal candidates should:

  • Have a passion for technology (e.g., competency in Python, machine learning, or NLP).
  • Demonstrate strong data literacy to navigate modern financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sales engagements for our Enterprise Data products, including:
    • Data Management Solutions (DMS & DL+)
    • Reference Data
    • Real-Time Feeds
    • Regulatory Solutions
    • Bloomberg Valuation Service (BVAL)
  • Leverage market, product, and technical expertise to identify client pain points.
  • Address regulatory compliance challenges and drive failure-free solutions.
  • Develop and submit compelling proposals that highlight client needs, current workflows, and tailored offerings.
  • Build and execute a pipeline strategy, ensuring alignment with sales targets across new prospects and existing clients.
  • Cultivate deep relationships across client organisations to foster stakeholder trust.
  • Maintain balanced engagement across the sales lifecycle—long-term, mid-term, and short-term—ensuring a robust pipeline.
  • Articulate "One Data. One Source." to clients, positioning Bloomberg as their unified data partner.

Requirements

-core qualifications-

  • 3+ years of experience selling Market Data or Technology—preferably within financial services.
  • A strong interest in joining a fast-growing team with challenging sales targets.
  • A deeper understanding of client needs, including their business models, technology stacks, and workflows.
  • Ability to leverage technical and domain expertise to build/defend credibility, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
  • Passion for technology and enthusiasm for learning.
  • A true appreciation for the Central & Eastern Europe region, with a willingness to travel frequently.
  • Fluency in European languages is beneficial but not mandatory due to multi-country coverage.
