🚀 We're Hiring: Enterprise Infrastructure Architect 📍 Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid/Onsite)
SmartField Tech is looking for an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to lead enterprise-wide infrastructure strategy and digital transformation initiatives for global enterprise customers.
If you have extensive experience designing enterprise infrastructure, leading cloud transformation programs, and working within leading Managed Service Providers, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise infrastructure architecture aligned with business strategy.
- Develop infrastructure and security architecture for complex enterprise environments.
- Create target-state architectures and technology transformation roadmaps.
- Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives including VMware/DC Exit and Hybrid Cloud adoption.
- Establish architecture governance, standards, and best practices.
- Review technology solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Provide technical leadership during pre-sales, solution design, and customer engagements.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Delivery, and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience
Primary Skills
- ✔ Enterprise Architecture & Infrastructure Design
- ✔ TOGAF Framework
- ✔ Hybrid IT & End-to-End Solution Architecture
- ✔ Azure / AWS / Hybrid Cloud Architecture
- ✔ Technology Roadmaps & Digital Transformation Strategy
- ✔ Proposal & Solution Documentation (PowerPoint & Word)
- ✔ Customer Solution Presentations
- ✔ Experience working with Managed Service Providers such as IBM, Accenture, HPE, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, or similar
Secondary Skills
- Business Process Modelling
- Capability Mapping
Technical Requirements
- 15+ years of Infrastructure Architecture and Technical Leadership experience.
- Expertise in VMware, Private Cloud, Kubernetes, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Enterprise Security.
- Proven experience migrating enterprise workloads from On-Premises to Public or Hybrid Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms including ServiceNow and Valuemation.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience implementing governance, approvals, compliance, and cost controls.
- Excellent communication, customer-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
