Network Operations Manager (Operations & Supplier Governance)

Come and join JLR as a Network Operations Manager (Operations & Supplier Governance) and play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and ongoing evolution of enterprise network services across a truly global organisation. Working at the heart of the IDT Networks team, you'll be responsible for governing key managed service providers, maintaining operational control, and ensuring network services remain secure, reliable, and aligned to business needs.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders to oversee day-to-day network operations, service governance, incident and problem management, change control, and service performance. You'll help drive continuous improvement, uphold operational standards, and ensure suppliers deliver against agreed service levels, processes, and contractual commitments.

We're looking for an experienced operational leader with a strong understanding of service management, supplier governance, and network operations within a complex enterprise environment. If you enjoy building strong supplier relationships, bringing structure to operational processes, and making a tangible impact on service quality and stability, this is an excellent opportunity to join JLR during an exciting period of transformation and growth.

What to Expect

This is a hands-on position with plenty of scope to make an impact. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure the stable, secure and reliable operation of enterprise network services, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Data Centre and Telecoms environments
  • Govern managed service providers and key suppliers, holding them accountable for SLA delivery, operational performance and contractual commitments
  • Lead service governance activities, including service reviews, performance reporting, escalation management and continuous improvement planning
  • Oversee incident, problem and change management processes, acting as the key escalation point for major service and supplier-related issues
  • Partner with Network Engineering, Product teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless service transitions, operational readiness and ongoing service excellence
  • Drive operational efficiency, resilience and cost optimisation through supplier management, capacity planning, automation and process standardisation
  • Maintain robust operational controls, documentation and compliance frameworks, ensuring services align with internal policies, regulatory requirements and governance standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
