The Work You'll Do
We are looking for an Enterprise Project Manager to join our European Professional Services team, with the ability to be based in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, or Spain. This is a senior delivery role for an experienced PM who understands the complexity of enterprise SaaS implementations — and who brings deep familiarity with tax compliance, e-invoicing, or regulatory technology.
You will own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-country e-invoicing and tax compliance implementations for enterprise clients across the EMEA region. You will be the client's primary delivery partner — managing scope, timeline, risk, and stakeholder relationships from kickoff through go-live and Hypercare. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, and your work will directly impact client satisfaction, revenue recognition, and the reputation of Sovos Professional Services in Europe.
More Specifically, You Will
- Own end-to-end project delivery for enterprise e-invoicing and tax compliance implementations across multiple EMEA countries simultaneously
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for client stakeholders — from project teams to C-suite sponsors — throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports; proactively surface risks and drive resolution before they become escalations
- Lead structured project governance — including weekly status meetings, monthly steering committee sessions, and go/no-go decision processes — in alignment with Sovos delivery methodology
- Manage project scope rigorously; identify, document, and drive change orders when client requests exceed agreed SOW boundaries
- Coordinate cross-functional Sovos resources — Solution Consultants, Technical Consultants, SAP specialists, Regulatory, and Product — to deliver against project commitments
- Track and report project hours against PS retainer balances; proactively communicate burn-down status and initiate retainer expansion conversations at appropriate thresholds
- Ensure all project data, time entries, and status records are accurately maintained in Cloud Coach and Sovos project management tooling in real time
- Manage Hypercare periods post-go-live and execute formal project handover to Sovos Customer Support
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PS delivery methodology, SOW templates, onboarding playbooks, and project governance frameworks
- Provide structured feedback to Product Management on implementation patterns, recurring defects, and enhancement opportunities observed across the client portfolio

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Need From You
- 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 4 years delivering enterprise SaaS implementations in a client-facing Professional Services environment

- Experience with SAP-integrated implementations (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or Process Orchestration) is strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with retainer-based PS engagements, including scope management, change order discipline, and hour burn-down governance
- Familiarity with EMEA e-invoicing mandates — including France (PPF/PDP), Germany (XRechnung/Peppol), Poland (KSeF), and/or Turkey (e-Fatura/e-Arşiv) — is a significant advantage

- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-moving, multi-mandate environments where priorities can shift quickly
- Proficiency with project management tooling (e.g. Cloud Coach, Salesforce, Jira, or equivalent PSA/CRM platforms
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in French, German, Dutch, Spanish, or Polish is a meaningful advantage given the client base
