Strategic Account Executive – Data & Analytics Sales
German/UK Location (Germany or UK)
About the Role
InterWorks is seeking a results-driven Strategic Account Executive to drive new business growth in data and analytics consultancy across the UK and EMEA, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise clients in sectors like financial services, retail, and manufacturing.
This quota-carrying, quota-bearing full-cycle sales role involves:
- New logo acquisition
- Expansion and relationship-building with existing accounts
- Selling complex, high-value data solutions aligned with business objectives
We’re looking for a candidate with 7+ years in B2B SaaS or consulting sales, including proven success closing six-figure deals with enterprise or upper mid-market accounts.
This role is open to candidates based in Germany or the UK, with flexible working models.
Compensation (UK & Germany)
For UK-based candidates: £90,000–180,000 total compensation (performance-weighted). For Germany-based candidates: €90,000–180,000 total compensation (performance-weighted).
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing high-value deals
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline to exceed annual quota targets
- Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles with technical and executive buyers (C-level & VP-level)

Solution Delivery & Advisory
- Collaborate with data consultants, solution architects, and internal teams to position enterprise-level data solutions
- Shape, negotiate, and structure €57.7K+/£50K+ six-figure engagements
- Represent InterWorks at industry events and through targeted outreach
Account & Relationship Management
- Partner closely with prospects and clients to understand business objectives and align solutions
- Maintain Salesforce pipeline accuracy, forecasting, and documentation
Requirements & Qualifications
Mandatory
- 7+ years B2B sales experience in technology, SaaS, or professional services
- 3+ years as a quota-bearing Account Executive (not SDR/BDR, goal community)
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota in a sales role
- Proven experience closing €57.7K–115.4K+ ACV/£50K–100K+ deals
- Experience selling to enterprise/mid-market organisations with complex multi-stakeholder decisions

Desired
- Data/analytics, BI, or cloud solutions sales experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce or modern data platforms (power-platforms, AWS/GCP within Data)
- Background in consulting or professional services
- Consultative style with strong translational business skills (balancing technical expertise with executive communication)
