The Opportunity As a UK Enterprise Sales Executive, you will be the lead person engaging directly with prospective clients across the Enterprise, Construction and Manufacturing sectors. You will own new business development in your territory, working to identify, progress and close complex, high-value SaaS deals. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially minded sales professional who wants to be part of a disruptive, market-leading technology company at a critical point in its UK growth journey. You will benefit from a strong Product Led Growth (PLG) motion, a growing pipeline of freemium-to-enterprise upgrade leads, and a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Own a defined UK sales territory covering Enterprise, Construction and Manufacturing accounts, with full accountability for a New Business Bookings target Qualify and progress Product Qualified Leads (PQLs) from prospects who have trialled Preservica's freemium service and are ready to upgrade to an Enterprise subscription Work closely with the Sales Solution Architect to ensure the Preservica solution is clearly matched to each prospect's technical and business requirements Manage and respond to RFPs and RFIs in conjunction with our Solutions Architects and RFP Manager Provide commercial support and guidance to third-party channel partners on larger, partner-led opportunities Collaborate with Marketing, Inside Sales and Channel teams to grow the UK pipeline and guide joint sales cycles through to close Conduct structured, documented handovers of new business wins to the Preservica Project and Customer Support teams Represent Preservica at relevant industry events, conferences and exhibitions across the UK Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity and pipeline records in Salesforce (sf.com) Provide detailed market and competitor feedback to Marketing, Product and Development teams Requirements & Experience Experience 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally in SaaS Proven track record of achieving and exceeding new business targets Experience selling into Enterprise, Construction and/or Manufacturing organisations — understanding the operational, compliance and records management challenges specific to these sectors Knowledge of Cloud Services, Data Storage, Enterprise Content Management, Records Management, e-Archiving or Digital Asset Management Familiarity with longer, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders (typically 3–9 months) Strong written and verbal communication skills — comfortable producing proposals, presentations and customer communications for a variety of audiences Bachelor's Degree preferred (Business or Computer Science advantageous) Attributes Ability to articulate a compelling value proposition to senior decision-makers and C-suite stakeholders Consultative and conceptual sales approach — able to address strategic business challenges, not just product features Proven ability to navigate complex organisations with multiple management layers and buying influencers Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills — confident, credible and persistent Entrepreneurial approach to new business development, including working with consultants and channel partners Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively in a remote/hybrid working environment More About Preservica We focus on the information governance and archival market. Preservica's key differentiation is that we future-proof information for the long-term, ensuring it remains readable and operationally usable for decades to come. Our customers need to retain information for 10+ years — or indefinitely — across a wide variety of file formats including documents, images, video, email, GIS, social media and more. We are poised for significant growth following the successful launch of our New Generation technology platform across Enterprise, Professional and Starter editions. We have also recently launched Preserve365™, a new solution that makes Active Digital Preservation™ a seamless experience within Microsoft SharePoint — opening a multi-billion-pound addressable market in the UK and beyond. Location & Reporting This is a remote/hybrid role based anywhere in the UK, with flexibility to work from home and travel to client sites, partner offices and Preservica's UK headquarters as required. The role reports into the Vice President of Sales and is an integral part of our growing UK and EMEA Sales organisation. Some international travel may be required.
