Enterprise Security Architect - AI Specialist

Enterprise Security Architect (Specialist in AI Security)

Location: Primary office-based with hybrid flexibility (up to 4 days remote)

About the Role

Our Enterprise Security Architects play a pivotal role in ensuring the secure and successful delivery of products, services, and AI platforms across evoke, while continually enhancing the company’s overall security posture.

Operating in a fast-paced environment, you’ll serve as a trusted security design authority, providing expert consultancy, guidance, and technical direction to projects and business stakeholders. Drawing on your Information Security expertise, you’ll ensure solutions align with statutory requirements, industry regulations, and best practices—with a **particular focus on ** secure artificial intelligence deployment, governance, and risk mitigation.

Working closely with architects and engineers, you’ll:

  • Support the secure development and delivery of AI-enabled solutions
  • Own AI security controls, governance frameworks, and protective layers
  • Enable innovation while embedding security, compliance, and governance at every stage of products and services.

This role emphasises technical design expertise, broad knowledge across AI and security, and hands-on experience in integrating secure AI solutions across domains.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

Technical Security Leadership

  • Develop architecture blueprints, patterns, and security requirements for emerging technologies (including cloud, AI, and emerging AI platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
  • Collaborate with architects, Product Owners, and product teams to design threat-informed defensive layers, security controls, and data governance frameworks.
  • Implement controls and measures compliant with:
    • Standards: NIST SP 800-x, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS,
    • Legislation: EU GDPR, UK GDPR, UK Online Safety Act, GDPR-type regulations via **sfcgla.
    • Methods: Risk modelling (e.g., ISO/IEC 31000), threat modelling (TOMA, STRIDE), security-by-design approaches

Innovation & Agile Delivery

  • Work in Agile environments to prioritise threats, vulnerabilities, and security needs through Initiatives, Epics, User Stories, and Tasks.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) and proof-of-value (PoV) assessments for new AI technologies and recommend robust, scalable security approaches.
  • Partner with AI team leads to propose compensating controls where resource constraints exist.

Architectural Collaboration

  • Define secure AI use cases, feasibility studies, and validation of technical requirements with architects and product managers.
  • Advise cyber hygiene safeguards for AI tooling and data lifecycle stages.
  • Develop architectural functional models using tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect (SparxEA) and Archi to visualise security capabilities.

Deep AI Security Specialisation

  • Apply AI-specific security principles for privacy, model reliability, adversarial threats, and ethical regulation.
  • Provide technical oversight for generative AI call-outs aligning with compliance and brand policies.
  • Partner withProduct Delivery Leaders to ensure security is built into R&D and go-to-market pipelines.

Key Requirements

Essential Experience & Expertise

  • Enterprise Security Architecture: Hands-on experience designing and implementing secure solutions within regulated industries (gaming/responsible gambling, fintech, or public sector preferred).
  • Modelling and Design: Practical experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect (SparxEA) or Archi, ability to create technical bearing diagrams and architectures;
  • Knowledge:
    • 10+ years experience in Information Security, focusing on core areas including OS (Operating Security), IoC (Indicators of Compromise), WAF (Web Application Firewall), IoT Security, and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) frameworks.
    • Deep understanding of transactional risk and monetary-sensitive risks in practice across multilines (gaming, betting, fintech).
  • Governing Entrenched Security Culture: Comprehensive experience influencing organisational security posture across product delivery and technological transformation via proactive frameworks and risk assessment practices.
  • Regulated Industries': Strong foundation in compliance frameworks like rules around Integrity Testing, data governance, third party due diligence, and risk intake procedures under Data Privacy directives (e.g., UK GDPR).
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Proven experience engaging both non-technical and C-level executives on AI security trade-offs and risks.

Certifications & Preferences

  • Security certifications (advised but not mandatory):
    • CISSP
    • CISM
    • ISO 27k-lead or similar ISO related approvals
    • CISA, ISO27005 Risk Management Proficiency
    • GIAC Security Practice Certification
