Enterprise Systems Manager

🧭 The Challenge: We’re seeking an Enterprise Systems Manager to lead the transformation of OneOcean’s internal business systems and alignment across Finance, Revenue, Customer Operations, Marketing, and IT.

Key Focus: Evolving from a fragmented landscape to a single, scalable, integrated platform that drives growth and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Own and Transform the Systems Landscape

  • Lead a multi-year transformation to consolidate and standardise business systems.
  • Eliminate duplication and ensure systems integrate seamlessly as a connected ecosystem.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of systems (selection, implementation, retirement).

Define and Deliver System Strategy

  • Build and execute a clear roadmap aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive platform rationalisation and removal of legacy systems.
  • Balance capability, cost, and long-term value.

Lead Integration and Data Consistency

  • Define an integration strategy to connect systems end-to-end.
  • Establish clear ownership of critical data (customer, product, financial, subscription).
  • Eliminate duplicate data and inconsistent sources of truth.

Drive Simplification and Standardisation

  • Translate business processes into scalable system solutions.
  • Challenge unnecessary complexity.
  • Enforce standard approaches across consolidated systems.

Own Delivery and Prioritisation

  • Manage a single, prioritised backlog for all internal systems.
  • Balance competing business demands.
  • Drive consistent delivery via internal teams and external partners.

Manage Vendors and Costs

  • Owner of system budgets and licence optimisation.
  • Lead vendor selection, negotiations, and renewals.
  • Optimise total cost of ownership.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing enterprise business systems (ERP, CRM, or similar).
  • Transformation or consolidation programme leadership.
  • Ability to work across multiple business functions (cross-functional experience essential).

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of system integration and data flows.
  • Commercial mindset with experience managing vendors and costs.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication with senior stakeholders.

Leadership Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate with external partners.
  • Ability to own decisions, prioritise outcomes, and drive change.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-changing, global environment.
