An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Entertainment Manager at Guildford Spectrum, one of the UK’s largest and most unique leisure centres. As part of our Head of Department Team, you’ll shape the future of Ice and Bowl facilities, uphold outstanding customer service, and drive growth across our centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial growth and customer participation in Ice and Bowl departments, ensuring income and participation targets are met.
- Lead and develop your team to deliver exceptional customer service, enhancing member experience.
- Managers order day-to-day operations of programmes, facilities, and services within Ice and Bowl departments.
- Act as the primary contact for established clubs (Guildford Flames Ice Hockey Club, Bowl leagues) and other user groups, requiring strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ensure health, safety, compliance, and service standards across Ice and Bowl departments.
- Lead the transformation of the Bowl facility into a social entertainment hub, with responsibilities including the brand new Puttify interactive golf experience, and growth of Strikes and Harvey’s Diner.
- Contribute to wider strategic direction of the venue.
- Be part of the management rota, including shifts as Complex Duty Manager.

Requirements
- Experience at Assistant Manager level or above within a medium to large leisure operation, leading teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, build high-performing teams, and demonstrate passion for leisure.
- Excel in financial awareness, commercial thinking, and operational success.
- Strong problem-solving, organisation, team management, and customer service skills (customer-facing leisure environment).
- Excellent time management and decision-making, with the ability to work independently and flexibly.

Details
- Salary: Up to £37,348 per annum.
- Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Sunday).
- Closing Date: 17th July 2026.
