The Opportunity
As an Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR), you’ll drive the growth, strategy, and team leadership for United Media. This role is ideal for ambitious, results-driven leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to deliver rapid scalability.
You’ll be responsible for: ✔ Leading all aspects of strategy, operations, and brand-building ✔ Recruiting, growing, and mentoring a high-performing team ✔ Establishing culture and vision for a forward-thinking business ✔ Executing both directly and through team delegation

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Execution
- Recruit, develop, and empower a high-performing, scalable team
- Set clear priorities, goals, and performance expectations
- Provide detailed feedback and continuous support for professional growth
- Oversee partnerships, strategy alignment, and operational execution
Product & Growth
- Build and deliver innovative media and conference products with unmatched quality
- Identify market opportunities, expansion potential, and business scalability
- Collaborate with development teams to acquire and retain high-value clients
Operations & Vision
- Manage smooth execution of conferences (on time, within budget)
- Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure KPIs are met
- Position United Media as the definitive industry leader for innovation and networking

Location: HQ in central London (Sloane Square)
Requirements
Experience & Education
- +4 years in fast-paced, high-performance environments (management consulting, investment banking, startups, or corporate leadership preferred).
- Undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) with outstanding results, ideally complemented by an MBA or other advanced qualification.
- UK/EU/US work authorization requirement.
Skills & Mindset
- Strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Exceptional communicicator – articulate and persuasive with all levels of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive results in dynamic settings.
