About The Role
At our Bromley service, you’ll be an active member of the team dedicated to:
- Ensuring individuals access treatment and support swiftly, safely, and effectively.
- Collaborating with recovery coordinators, clinicians, and partner agencies to engage those entering our services.
- Guiding individuals through the initial phases of their treatment journey and connecting them with tailored support.
Your responsibilities will blend direct work with service users, assessments, safeguarding, partnerships, and administration, all with a focus on cultivating positive experiences that encourage sustained engagement.
About You
We’re seeking someone driven and committed to nurturing meaningful relationships from the very first interaction. To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience working with vulnerable adults, including individuals facing complex difficulties—fields such as substance misuse, mental health, criminal justice, housing, homelessness, healthcare, or community support are highly valued.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with an ability to:
- Build trust and rapport quickly.
- Show empathy and understanding at all stages.
- Strong organisational abilities, keen attention to detail, and a professional approach to safeguarding, confidentiality, and boundaries.
- Teamwork—the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse multidisciplinary teams.
- A genuine passion for helping individuals achieve positive and sustainable changes in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
Direct Service Engagement
- Welcome and engage individuals entering treatment or recovery services.
Assessment & Care Planning
- Conduct screening assessments to gather critical information.
- Support individuals through early-stage recovery, ensuring focused and effective care.
Safeguarding & Support
- Identify safeguarding concerns and complete risk assessments as needed.
- Provide harmless harm reduction advice and interventions.
Casework & Administration
- Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to coordinate services.
Access to Wider Support
- Help individuals navigate:
- Healthcare services
- Housing and wellbeing support
- Community resources
Approach & Guidance
- Promote person-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused practices throughout all interactions.

Full-time hours here equate to 37.5 hours per week, with salaries adjusted proportionately for part-time roles.

Salary & Scale
- Based on CGL points 23–28: £28,557.79 – £32,802.41
- Outer London weighting: additional £2,250.61
