Job Title: Entry Level Engineer – Controls Programming & Automation (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
All engineers at DMC focus on programming and software solutions, including:
- Controls programming for:
- Food and beverage processing and packaging
- Automotive assembly lines
- Packaging machinery controls

Design and development of automated test systems using:
- LabVIEW
- TestStand
- C#
- Python (applicable across industries like EV battery testing, aerospace and rockets, turnkey, and cloud-enabled test and measurement solutions)

Consult with clients on project status updates, fostering positive client relationships while addressing complex requests

Travel to customer manufacturing sites for solution commissioning, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems

Collaborate with cross-functional project teams of varying sizes and experience levels

Assist senior engineers in:
- Scoping new projects
- Estimating project timelines and costs
- Developing proposals

Manage tasks and priorities within teams while identifying risks and roadblocks

Develop and grow leadership skills in a dynamic work environment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Or a related field

Minimum GPA of 3.4 (on a 4.0 scale)

Able to program in text-based languages and have knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts

A quick learner with a strong desire for continuous improvement

Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration

Compensation is based on relevant experience, industry standards, and location.
Salary Range: $87,500–$97,500 USD
