[Hybrid] - Entry-Level Controls and Automation Engineer

  • Controls programming for:

    • Food and beverage processing and packaging
    • Automotive assembly lines
    • Packaging machinery controls
  • Design and development of automated test systems using:

    • LabVIEW,
    • TestStand,
    • C#,
    • Python for diverse industries and applications, such as:
    • EV battery
    • Aerospace and rocket
    • Turnkey systems
    • Cloud-enabled test and measurement systems
  • Client consultation for status updates, maintaining positive rapport while addressing requests

  • Travel to customer manufacturing sites for solution commissioning, including troubleshooting:

    • Electrical systems
    • Mechanical systems
  • Collaboration with project teams, encompassing different sizes and experience levels

  • Assisting senior engineers with:

    • Scoping new projects
    • Estimating and proposing new initiatives
  • Task management with project teams:

    • Prioritizing needs
    • Addressing risks and roadblocks
  • Development and growth of leadership skills

Note: 25-50% travel is required for this position, with additional benefits available for higher travel commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in:

    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.4

  • Interest and ability to:

    • Program in text-based languages
    • Apply object-oriented concepts
  • Quick learner with a strong desire for continuous improvement

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both:

    • Internal collaboration
    • External client interactions

Compensation is structured based on:

  • Relevant experience
  • Industry and location standards

Salary range for this position: $87,500—$97,500 USD
