Entry Level CMS Author - (3-6 Month FTC)
Initial 4-Month Fixed-Term Contract Role: CMS Author
About the Role
As a CMS Author, you’ll work closely with Agile development teams to build new components, functionality, and experiences within the CMS platform.
You’ll collaborate closely with developers to ensure these are easy-to-use and scalable, then partner with QA teams to provide testing materials for newly built functionality. Working with one of our leading automotive industry clients, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge projects as part of a dynamic team—helping both the agency and client innovate together.
Key Responsibilities
- Design authoring interfaces for components and pages within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in collaboration with developers
- Work with QA teams to provide sufficient content and materials for testing newly developed functionality
- Partner with designers and copywriters to ensure assets and content align with new Sitecore features
- Create authoring guides to help other content editors effectively utilise new functionality
Requirements
- Strong understanding of web-based technologies and best practices
- Familiarity with creating documentation for relevant technology and applications
- Ability to gather, analyse, and synthesise information efficiently
- Proven skills in multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Quality Assurance (QA) awareness and ability to apply QA methods
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, as the role involves close collaboration with external stakeholders and third-party teams
- Reliable track record of delivering projects on time and meeting deadlines
- Highly adaptable, approachable, and self-driven
- Prior experience with AEM or other web-based CMS platforms is beneficial (nice to have)
