Entry Level CMS Author - (3-6 Month FTC)

Initial 4-Month Fixed-Term Contract Role: CMS Author

About the Role

As a CMS Author, you’ll work closely with Agile development teams to build new components, functionality, and experiences within the CMS platform.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers to ensure these are easy-to-use and scalable, then partner with QA teams to provide testing materials for newly built functionality. Working with one of our leading automotive industry clients, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge projects as part of a dynamic team—helping both the agency and client innovate together.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design authoring interfaces for components and pages within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) in collaboration with developers
  • Work with QA teams to provide sufficient content and materials for testing newly developed functionality
  • Partner with designers and copywriters to ensure assets and content align with new Sitecore features
  • Create authoring guides to help other content editors effectively utilise new functionality

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of web-based technologies and best practices
  • Familiarity with creating documentation for relevant technology and applications
  • Ability to gather, analyse, and synthesise information efficiently
  • Proven skills in multitasking and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Quality Assurance (QA) awareness and ability to apply QA methods
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, as the role involves close collaboration with external stakeholders and third-party teams
  • Reliable track record of delivering projects on time and meeting deadlines
  • Highly adaptable, approachable, and self-driven
  • Prior experience with AEM or other web-based CMS platforms is beneficial (nice to have)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
