Do you enjoy finding smarter ways of working and want to build a career in data analytics and business automation? If so, Greenhous has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Data & Automation Analyst to join our growing team.

This is a fully remote position, however applicants must be based in Shropshire or the surrounding area to support occasional meetings, training, and collaboration with colleagues when required. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5.30 pm i.e. 37.5 hours per week. 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with collecting, analysing and interpreting data from a variety of business systems.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, reports, dashboards and visualisations.
  • Help identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve business efficiency.
  • Work with colleagues across the business to understand reporting and automation requirements.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining automated workflows using appropriate tools and technologies.
  • Monitor the accuracy and quality of business data, highlighting and resolving discrepancies where appropriate.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to support operational and management decision-making.
  • Document processes, automation solutions and system changes clearly and accurately.
  • Support the team with data-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics and automation.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • A keen interest in data analysis, business intelligence or process automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with T-SQL and Microsoft Power suite would be of benefit.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly.
  • The ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
