Looking to start your career in finance?

Whether you've recently graduated or are looking for your first professional office role, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, established organisation offering full training, hybrid working and genuine career development.

You'll become part of a friendly finance team where you'll learn the fundamentals of accounts receivable, customer accounts, reconciliations and financial systems. Previous finance experience isn't essential. We're looking for people with the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

What you'll be doing

You'll support the finance team by ensuring customer accounts are accurate and payments are processed efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Raising customer invoices accurately and on time.
  • Processing invoices and credit notes.
  • Allocating customer payments.
  • Following up on outstanding invoices and maintaining customer accounts.
  • Investigating payment queries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Producing basic reports and assisting with account reconciliations.
  • Working closely with internal teams to resolve customer account queries.
  • Supporting month-end activities and general finance administration.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has recently graduated or is looking to start a career in finance or accounting.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working with numbers.
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Has a positive attitude and is eager to learn new systems and processes.
