Media Sales Executive
Kick-start your media sales career with a leading publishing and events team
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 basic, plus 25% OTE and uncapped commission
Join an independent media business spanning magazines, digital advertising, exhibitions and awards.
The opportunity
Ready to break into media sales? Our client will give you the training and support to sell print and digital advertising for a market-leading magazine and website.
As you grow, you’ll also sell sponsorship and promotional packages for live events across the UK.
You’ll report to the Sales Director and join a friendly, ambitious team.

What you’ll do
- Manage and develop relationships with an existing client base.
- Win new business within selected sectors through telephone, email and face-to-face conversations.
- Sell display advertising, advertorial content, email promotions and digital advertising.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across the company’s exhibitions and events.
- Work closely with sales and editorial colleagues to strengthen the brand.
- Represent the brand at live exhibitions and the annual awards ceremony.

- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Motivation to build a career in media sales.
- The ability to learn quickly and understand a specialist market.
- A proactive approach to developing client relationships and new business.
- Strong organisation and a collaborative working style.
No media sales experience? No problem—we’re looking for potential, transferable skills and plenty of enthusiasm.
